 AIT Dokpesi bids final goodbye to the world

Mr. Dokpesi, the founder of DAAR Communications, proprietor of Africa Independent Television and Raypower FM died Monday morning in Abuja.


Per multiple reports, the AIT boss had  been managing his health and was placed on occupational therapy to improve his daily activities before his sudden death.

Raymond Dokpesi was a visionary Nigerian entrepreneur, media mogul, and philanthropist whose impact on Nigeria's media industry cannot be overstated. He was the founder of Africa Independent Television (AIT), one of Nigeria's leading broadcast media institutions.

Dokpesi was known for his passionate commitment to the development of Nigeria's media industry and for his unwavering support for democracy in the country. He believed strongly in the power of the media to speak truth to power and hold those in authority accountable.


Throughout his career, he waged many battles against forces that sought to silence him and his media empire. Despite facing numerous legal and financial challenges, he remained dedicated to the pursuit of truth and the empowerment of Nigerian citizens through the media.
