4 THINGS TO DO BEFORE 2023
4 THINGS TO DO BEFORE 2023
Adebayo Nurudeen
This year 2022, started as a slow and steady ride and then became a fast and furious show. It is about 7 days before the turn of the year. Here are 4 things to do before 2023.
SHOW GRATITUDE
“If you are grateful, I will give you more” (Quran: 14:7)
Gratitude can part seas for you, with gratitude all negativity is dissolved. You might not be where you want to be, but regardless of where you find yourself show gratitude to the master of the universe. Your current situation is another person’s Prayer point and we are better off than many in this world.
GOAL SETTING FOR THE YEAR
“Setting goals is the first step in turning the invisible into the Visible” (Tony Robbins)
It will be consequential going into the New Year without putting into paper goals and objectives with practical solutions on how to achieve these goals. Every aspect of your life varying from business, career, finance, savings, education, and personal development should have a particular goal with a time frame. For instance, your goal is to expand your business; you achieve this by understanding your customers, getting more audience, and modifying your unique selling point.
For personal development, buy and read books related to your career, attend conferences, and seminars, get a mentor, meet people who are at the top of their career, and imitate what they have done. Finance, on the other hand, avoid impulse buying, stick to your budget and wait a day longer before making a purchase.
LET GO OF ADDICTIONS
“Once you crossover there are things in the darkness that can keep your heart from ever feeling the light again” (Raymond Reddington _The Blacklist)
Over time, addictions can seriously interfere with your daily life. People experiencing addiction are also prone to cycles of relapse and remission. Someone with an addiction won’t stop their behavior, even if they recognize the problems the addiction is causing, they will also display a lack of control. Replace excessive alcohol intake with soda and fresh lime, Pornography with lifting weights, and Masturbation with learning a new skill.
PRAY AND PRACTICE THE LAW OF GIVING
Preparation can only take you so far, after that you have got to have a few leaps of faith ( Micheal Scofield_ Prison Break)
Going into the New Year, have hope and faith that things will turn out well for you. Prayer and Fasting works irrespective of your faith. If you are a Christian wake up at the midnight, a Muslim should wake up at the last third of the night for Thajjud.
Giving from a full heart is one of the most joyous things you can do, the law of attraction will grab hold of that signal and flood even more into your life. Extend your riches to the less privileged.
“Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver…”- (2corinthians 9:6-8)
